Curator Esmeralda Gómez Galera presents 'Echo Chamber' by Rafa Forteza, at the ‘Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de las Islas Balears’ (COAIB), the headquarters of the Architectural Association of the Balearic Islands. The historic setting of the 'Cas La Torre' right on the Palma city walls above the Parc de La Mar overlooking the Mediterranean lends a specific setting, and led artist and curator to create an inner independent architecture within the space. Features like the circle, circular activity and circular economy - through upcycling - feature strongly in this exhibition of Forteza. Originally from Mallorca Rafa Forteza spent decades abroad including France and Germany finding international acclaim as representative of the 'Arte Povera' movement.
